We are looking forward to the Rathmines Aikido Summer Course in Dublin With Matthew Holland Shihan 7th Dan of the Scottish Aikido Federation.

Danielle O’Brien seen below with two of her instructors after a successful grading; she was awarded 1st. Kyu. Danielle is leaving Dublin in April and heading off to Japan to practice aikido in Kyoto for the next few years. She will be missed, but her friends and fellow aikidoka at Aikikai Rathmines wish her the very best of luck in Japan.

There will be no training on Tuesday 17th March. Enjoy the festivities. Classes will resume on 19th as usual.

Aikikai Rathmines and Aikikai Ireland are getting together for an afternoon of aikido on Saturday 25th April. This is the first in a series of seminars which will feature instructors from different clubs.

The instructors on this session are Jean Pasley Sensei, 5th Dan, and Joe McHugh Sensei, 4th Dan. The dojo opens at 2.00. Classes are from 2.30 – 5.00. All welcome.
