We are all shocked and saddened by the news of sensei’s death. As our technical advisor in Aikikai Rathmines he had a huge influence on the development of our dojo. He was endlessly generous with his knowledge and skill, and impeccable in his teaching. We have many happy memories of his visits both to the dojo in Dublin and to our summer schools in County Kerry. Recent years were troubled by illness but, determined to keep going, he continued teaching. We learned so much from him and owe him a great deal. The world has lost an indomitable spirit and a remarkable aikido master.
Congratulations to all who graded and were promoted recently.
